Reaction Time Percentile
See exactly where a reaction time result ranks against real sessions of our classic reaction time test.
Data collection in progress.
We only publish percentiles once at least 100 real, anonymous test sessions are available (87 so far). Every completed test helps. How we collect data
How percentiles are calculated
Every completed session produces an average of its valid attempts. We sort all session averages and compute the 1st to 99th percentile cut-offs. Your percentile is the share of sessions with a slower (higher) average than yours. Data is refreshed every 15 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
What does 'faster than 80%' mean?
It means your average was lower (faster) than the session averages of 80% of tests in our data.
Why is my percentile not shown after the test?
Percentiles only appear once we have enough real sessions to make them meaningful. Until then we show 'Data collection in progress'.
Are the percentiles device-specific?
No. They cover all devices. Because device latency differs, see the device statistics page for context.
